Finally i went to a soloon to making my nails. I'm happy i did it, because my manicurest present me a new way to polish my nails - OPI gel color. I was read about that year ago and know that is similar as CND Shellac, but didn't know that OPI introduce their own line.
The procedure start off by cleaning and prepping the nails. Then she apply a lay of GelColor base coat. After that she apply two layers of GelColor color coat. The final top it off with GelColor’s Top Coat. Just as any other soak off gel polish, the difference with the regular nail polish is that i have to cure it under a UV or LED lamp after every coat. Once she apply the final layer, she wipe the nails with cotton and 90-99% alcohol. She explain to me that with this step she remove the sticky residue and create a high gloss shine. The big plus is that it dries very quickly and do not have to watch out for your nails for hours and i left a saloon with beautiful manicure and pedicure. It has to stay for up to 10 days, which i can't believe it yet.

ReplyDeletethis is the only thing i didn't like. i remove it at home last night after two weeks and i still had the perfect shine. i had to stay for a 15 min with cotton soaked in nail polish remover and the gel peel off. next week i will go to saloon and they will remove the gel from my feet. i'll see the difference. for me this gel polish is very good for winter pedicure when there is no time for drying.
